To find the best matches for our clients, we have developed a multi-channel search methodology, which we diligently apply across all levels and roles. Our methodology comprises of five specific and honed stages, as expected from a specialist recruitment agency. 


Stage 1: Pre-project, Project Planning, and Preparation

The first stage of the recruitment methodology functions as a professional recruitment consultancy onboarding, where we will lay down and formalize all aspects that would come into the entire process. Here, we will conduct an hour-long meeting with the client to define the job profile, roles, and key criteria they’re looking for in a company or candidate. 

At this stage, we want to lay down the full project plan and critical deliverable timings to keep the client informed and on track throughout every phase of the project. To build trust among the parties, our Project Search Team will be introduced to the client, who will also take charge of creating a preliminary list of companies or candidates to target. 


Stage 2: Search, Initial Interviews, and Assessment

Our professional recruitment agency will undertake an extensive search to find a suitable match for the client. We will screen candidates from various channels, map and engage target companies, execute a referral scheme, and screen our database of +1000 CVs. A proactive search will also be conducted in the form of job advertisements and networking in trade shows and seminars to engage potential talents looking for IT jobs in Hong Kong and Asia across all digital and physical platforms.

During the entire search process, we ensure that the client is always kept on tabs by providing a weekly report detailing the progress of the search. 


Stage 3: Shortlist Presentation and Client Interviews

After the extensive search process, we will provide the client company with 10-15 candidates for them to review. Chosen candidates will be included in the shortlist, and will participate in a structured face-to-face interview. To save our client companies their valuable time and resources, and organized document of interview feedback, search data, and other insights will be provided for them. These documents are for the client company to use at their leisure to help them conduct their interview with the potential candidate. 


Stage 4: Candidate Review, Feedback, Offer, and Acceptance

Silicon Valley Associates Recruitment is your companion throughout the entire duration of the hiring process. We will help you arrange interview schedules and make the necessary preparations. After the interviews, we will participate in a debriefing session where candidate reviews and discussions will take place.

For preferred candidates, final reference checks will be conducted. Once that is settled, we will begin to offer negotiations to help you secure your potential employee. On your behalf, we will take the lead in rejecting non-chosen candidates. 


Stage 5: Satisfaction Survey

During the notice period, we will make sure to keep in touch with the appointed candidate and facilitate any preparation efforts required for the new role. We value the companies and candidates we work with, which is why we will arrange follow-up meetings with each party to ensure successful onboarding.
