1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been living in the UK for the last 5 years and has done his Masters in Advanced Computer Science from XXXX. Has great history of working within financial industries over the last four years including fintech, commercial payment sectors, and also insurance. He is currently a Platform Architect with XXXX, which is one of the biggest insurance companies in UK, and he looks after 18 million customers and end users. He is responsible for handling the whole backend infrastructure and architecture, handling new projects, and basically any engagements that can convert business proposition into cloud design/solution. He also is part of technical design authority where he review designs for other solutions within their platform consisting of 57 applications, 13 platforms, and millions of end users. In summary, he’s responsible for the end-to-end backend, frontend, and cloud designing architecture; he works closely with cross functional teams including business analysts, software developers, project requirements/managers, and many more. He’s leading a team of 12 architects currently from platform, software, and enterprise architect. For the last few years, he also has been into AWS and highly knowledgeable with Azure and GCP; before this, he was in India working as a Software Developer.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be within software architecture since he has been doing this for the past 5+ years of his career in the UK. He specializes within the financial services industry and is good with cloud architecture/technology as well including AWS, GCP, and Azure; has certifications as well within those technologies to back up his experience. He is now strictly looking for architect, either lead or principal positions, within financial services industry in the UAE.
