His daily responsibilities involve participating in RFP/RFI processes, understanding customer requirements, reviewing RFP documents, and collaborating with OEMs and partners to develop solutions. Once the solution is finalized, he validates it and handles commercial modeling—whether it’s CapEx, resell, or OpEx (as-a-service) models. He also prepares executive summaries and presents them to clients.

    He has been consistently rated as an outstanding performer for the past three consecutive years, achieving all assigned targets and goals. He was recognized as a target achiever and received an award during the last Dell ecosystem summit. In software sales, he handled a portfolio generating around USD 10 million annually, and in the asset business, approximately USD 8–10 million

    Currently, he manages both new and existing accounts—acting as the point of contact, identifying new opportunities, and supporting refresh cycles or capacity expansions. In addition to infrastructure sales, he is also involved in software-as-a-service. Through XXXX’s back-to-back agreements with OEMs and partners, he facilitates the purchase and delivery of software licenses with flexible terms. These offerings are designed to provide added value and flexibility, making it more appealing for customers to go through HCL rather than directly to vendors. For example, while OEMs typically offer licenses with a minimum three-year term, HCL enables customers to opt for shorter durations—even just a few months. . He is involved in a wide range of products, including storage, backup, compute, and cyber resiliency solutions, working with brands like Cisco, Hitachi etc. He is familiar with different models such as Dell’s OpEx model, HP’s Evergreen, and Hitachi’s EverFlex. His product experience spans SAN storage, block storage, PowerMax, PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale, and Isilon. He also works with HP Electra, compute blades, rack servers, backup appliances like Data Domain, and software such as Rubrik, Cohesity, and Dell DPS. Additionally, he manages agreements with OEMs and partners to deliver licensing and software to end customers under a SaaS model.
