1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She is an Engineering graduate and started her career with XXXX as a QA Analyst where she had to test mainly the websites of the cable wireless team. She had to take a career break to attend to her kids for about eight years and joined XXXX last 2021; she has worked there on two projects including one for insurance domain and another one for IoT project wherein she served as a Functional Test Lead for both; her responsibilities back then includes preparing the test estimation/plan, test design using techniques and methodologies, test execution, data set up, implementation, bug reporting, and also participated in the triage test call with clients to come up with test reports. Over the last three years, she was also involved in Sprint methodology, Waterfall methodology in both projects and has participated in backlog refinement, retrospective, and such.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be manual testing since she’s a functional tester herself. She used to test web applications based on the client’s requirement using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps for test management, and also wrote test cases in Excel; has used other tools as well including Zipher, Postman for executing test cases, and for the last two years, she also has been involved in automation testing, regression testing, and technologies such as Selenium and bit of Java.
