1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been in the UAE for the last 15 years and has been associated with different companies. Recently, he is with XXXX as a Senior Technology Architect where he works with infrastructure cloud, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence platforms; his role is to enable the platform to business services, meet the clients, understand the requirements, and align with product requirement as well to create into a solution. He’s also involved with presales, creating RFI/RFP, and initiate procurement process for the client; apart from that, he is the one building the entire blueprint of the infrastructure as well as systems, cloud, and such. Before this, he was with XXXX as the Head of IT Architecture and Strategy; he was reporting back then with the Director of IT. He was basically doing the strategic design, creation of complete programs, and move to administer the platform and infrastructure services. Another platform he worked with was a fleet management systems which was hosted locally then moved to cloud completely. Prior to that, he was with XXXX and XXXX as a Principal Architect where he was reporting directly to the Solution Director; he was purely working there with infrastructure architecture as well as solutions presales and basically assess the current posture of client, create new solutions to onboard their services to manage, and meet government clients as well to understand their needs for alignment. During the earlier years of his career, he worked with Oman as a Deputy Manager of Microsoft practices where he drove Microsoft presales team and do complete implementation while taking order and operations part as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be purely end-to-end applications and entire organization management in terms of enterprise architecture as well as business processes on IT. Aside from that, he has great experience and knowledge with cloud platforms either public or private, together with cloud native business applications, and such. Currently, he’s doing around 60% technical and around 40% management/leadership roles; has led around 12 team members as the biggest team size in his previous roles.
