1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is a software/tech leader with over 8 years of experience in architecting, developing, and scaling AI-driven products from the ground up; on top of that, he has been in leadership position for more than 3 years now. He is currently with XXXX which is a GenAI startup in UAE, he defined their AI/ML strategy, led architecture, and built MVPs from scratch. He was also the one to establish their MLOps pipeline on cloud service, specifically AWS, to deploy LLM-based GenAI applications. As the Head of AI Engineering, he has recruited and led a team of more than 8 engineers and data scientists, on top of attending/representing their company in pitches and conferences. Before this, he was a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for XXXX where he led development of NLP pipelines and ML infrastructure on Azure cloud; one of his major accomplishments there was introducing Langchain and HuggingFace stack for their internal product innovations, mentored junior engineers, and worked closely with product managers. They were able to deliver AI components to about 3 SaaS products that time from prototype to production. He started off as a Machine Learning Engineer for XXXX where he worked for the fintech and healthcare sector; first job was an AI Research Assistant for an AI Lab in the US where they worked on different projects related to deep learning applications.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be architecting and scaling AI/ML systems from zero to one in startup environments since he has been doing that for more than 8 years now. His core expertise includes designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML architecture using modern frameworks such as PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and so on. He's also proficient in building and deploying cloud-native MLOps pipelines in AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes; and has deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and multi-agent AI systems. On top of that, he has proven leadership skills when it comes to technical teams, aligning AI strategy with business goals, and delivering POCs/MVPs.
