1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and currently working with XXXX in Dubai, involved in both defensive and offensive cybersecurity ranging from real-time monitoring, SIEM fine tuning, manual penetration testing, and malware analysis as well. He has been actively involved in platforms like TryHackMe, Hackthebox, and other practical apps used in cybersecurity such as Splunk, Sentinel, BurpSuite, Metasploit, and such. In his current employment, he is monitoring for any threats, offense, or cybersecurity attacks not only for on-prem, in-house clients but also for other clients they have which is mostly on the financial side. He investigates them one by one and find if they are an actual attack or hacking and create a report about it to be sent to their clients. Before this, he was a Cybersecurity Researcher for XXXX where he also performed penetrations tests on network devices, operating systems, databases, and applications depending on the requirements.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be within the cybersecurity field especially in penetration testing and ethical hacking. He’s proficient with cyberteaming, either red team or blue team is fine. Apart from that, he has several certifications such as eCPPT, CEH, and OSCP which he is currently taking.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity and manual penetration testing mostly for clients on the financial side. He is knowledgeable in both offensive and defensive side of things and also proficient with different tools such as BurpSuite, Metasploit, and other tools used for cybersecurity purposes. He is well-versed with different security frameworks as well.
