1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has about 16 years of experience in the IT field and about 4 years of it in the penetration testing domain. He has multiple certifications including CEH, CCNP, CPT, MCSE, and OCA. He started his career as an IT Systems Engineer for XXXX, worked onsite from XXXX where he worked on different Cisco products, implemented policies, procedures, and technologies for server security. After that, he moved to XXXX itself and was an IT Systems Engineer there as well working and managing mostly on AD services in Windows Server, and basically vendor management and administration for the whole company. He also has experience working as an IT Engineer for XXXX where he did infrastructure design and implementation of clients, servers, network devices installation, configuration, and administration as well. He is currently with XXXX as a Penetration Tester (Cyber Security Specialist) where he’s responsible for conducting penetration tests, security assessments, and vulnerability scans for web applications and networks; he also implemented DLP for data loss prevention, securities in firewalls, and data security some other software. Most of their clients are coming from the engineering sectors.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be running tests on web applications and mobile applications. Apart from that, he’s knowledgeable with different tools for cybersecurity including Acunetix tools, Python tools, and some used for web/mobile applications.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
His overall experience in IT field is around 16 years but around 4 years in cybersecurity and penetration testing. He has done different testing, vulnerability assessment, network/mobile app security, and web app security as well; he’s proficient in both red team and blue team concepts as well. For the tools, he has used Burpsuite, Metasploit, Nmap, Hydra, Wireshark, and more. Also knowledgeable with security frameworks such as OWASP, ISO/IEC, and others.
