1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
His recent role was a Pentester for XXXX where they are handling infrastructure of company servers including network, infrastructure, and application websites. They are testing the security of different websites and applications depending on the clients’ requirements, search for vulnerabilities, and try to exploit them before attackers do. Before that, he was a Cybersecurity Analyst for XXXX working remotely in the USA, he worked there on different types of detections and analysis of the infrastructure, implemented security measures, and integrated key security solutions such as firewalls, configured routers, switches, antivirus software, and others. He started off as a Blockchain Expert for about 3 years where he developed and deployed smart contracts, worked on blockchain protocols, and cryptographic security measures. He also was able to mitigate blockchain attacks back then including re-entrancy, timestamp dependency, and such.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be penetration testing and basically securing infrastructure of the organization he’s in. He also has a variety of tech stack he’s proficient depending on the type of testing they will work on and the phase of it as well; he’s familiar with Metasploit, BurpSuite, Nmap, and Wireshark. He’s good with threat analysis, cloud threat mitigation, and risk assessment as well.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been in the cybersecurity space for about 5 years, and has been doing pentesting for about 3-5 years as well mostly for banking and financial sectors. He has hands-on experience with network, application/website, infrastructure, and API penetration testing; familiar majorly with red team but also good with blue team since he did some ethical hacking previously.
