1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is currently working with XXXX and is deployed with one of their client location which is a bank in the UAE. His role there is assessing their core banking application with security assessment, understanding the security loopholes, and suggesting if there’s anything that can be done better with respect to the security and protection of their core banking apps. Most of his role and experience is related to network and applications. Prior to this, he was associated with XXXX and XXXX; in XXXX, his role was a Tech Lead where he led a small team of 3-4 people in assessing clients, doing security assessments, and help with any issues to come up. In XXXX, he was mostly involved with their core telecom applications, mainly assessed their APIs, mobile applications for security assessment, and even container security. He started off as Information Security Consultant for two different companies in India prior to that.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be within web applications assessment; he is great in finding new vulnerabilities and bugs on platforms. On top of that, he’s also great with mobile application testing and has done this for the telecoms and banking industry for the past few years.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been in the cybersecurity and penetration testing field for more than 7 years now and has leveraged all related tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, BurpSuite, Wireshark, and other relevant ones. Aside from that, he is familiar with the concepts of both blue team and red team, and has great knowledge of different security frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, and such. He has several certifications related to Network and Security as well.
