  1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
    He has over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry and most of that experience has been in China and Southeast Asia. The first chapter of his career, the first 10-12 years was more of project management, doing operations, presales, business development, and marketing. This chapter closed with his role in XXXX where he managed mobile publishing for XXXX. After that, he joined XXXX where the second chapter of his career started; this is the time he moved into product management but still keeping the gaming thread. He then worked for XXXX as the Head of Product where he built products from scratch and launched it commercially but since moving as a Product Manager/Director for them will require him to relocate outside Singapore, he had to join XXXX where he was able to explore the Web3 space building games with the team of around 30 people (18 people internally from the game production team and another 12 working for them, along with vendors, scale art production, and QAs). He was also in charge of another 12 people under web3 product development and data team there. Currently, he’s just doing advising, consulting, and mentoring studios for the past few months; he has mentored in XXXX program.

     
  2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
    Strongest skill would be team leadership, building partnerships, and also building products. Over the 20+ years of his experience, he has covered a lot of ground such as project management, business development, Marketing, and even creative products; he’s a generalist but would consider leadership as his strongest skills on top of all of these.

     
  3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
    He is strong with product management and has been doing these for several years now, including leading/handling teams of product development team. In his last role, he was overseeing the production of the entire game, working closely with the producers and developers. With this being said, he has been involved in the whole game development cycle from concept, design, development, and publishing. Most of the games he worked were MOBA game (PvP, 2v2, 4v4) which was designed with an extensive metagame and progression systems; it’s not 4X but still in the midcore/strategy segment. Has strong experience with the China market and Southeast Asia since he has worked several years in China before.
