  1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?

He entered the IT industry and worked with SDR from business development perspective and built himself up to become the team lead and he was leading a team within the APAJ region. He was leading 2-3 people in Singapore and in Shanghai, Australia, India etc. He was offered a role to be a manager for Business Development team.

  1. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?

He is strong in hunting clients and going after the new logos and new clients and he also is a individual contributor and would not need his own SDR and could build his own pipeline and he is also good in replicating success and hiring and nurturing the right people and to go out there and find the business to secure a good handshake with business development and sales teams. He can also manage stakeholders within his own organization.

  1. He then started and built his own team in APAC in Blue Prism and inherited the Japan market as well, the thing about what he does is that he does two big major things and work closely with field marketing and they do a lot of qualifications and then hand them over to the sales team and they also work with regional sales people to understand what their strategic accounts and they go after the ABM perspective and understand their potential clients. They also qualify leads that come to them, he also does cross-functional with customer success, pre-sales, and other teams.
  2. He also built a team of Inside Salespeople, and they target the mid-market organizations and the people he selects that become inside salespeople is that they can do their own hunting and makes sure that they understand the sales cycle.
  3. When he started the inside sales team, they were handed several accounts and he had to go in with what they are doing with the automation licenses, and he started looking for incumbent partners and what could be the low hanging fruits that they could look after. They also bring in the salespeople to talk on the technical.
  4. With cloud automation he has a huge experience with it, some of the biggest advantage with the cloud platform is that he could deploy quickly with anywhere unless the customer wants a custom-made DX.
7. On the DX that they provide they have a lot of machine learning types that they have a lot of integration with other software’s out there wherein their robots could learn anything. In the first few rounds of ML, you need to tell the robot on what does it need to do and needed to teach it a few times and then overtime it teaches.
