1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
After his graduation, he worked in an energy provider company, XXXX, back in France as an IT Engineer, Network Engineer, and Project Manager as well so he definitely has a technical background of data center, infrastructure. After about 8 years in the technical space, he had a change and moved to sales. For the past 3 experiences, he has worked in XXXX as a Key Account Manager where he was responsible as well for business development of the energy industry, a Key Account Director for XXXX where he was involved and doing business with the government sector mostly. Also had a short stint with XXXX as a Corporate Sales Manager where he was doing sales and business development with brokers worldwide and he is currently with XXXX as a Business Development Manager where he is mostly selling services with IT systems as an integrator, both workplace and data center environment; on a daily basis, he keeps track of all the requests from their clients, prepare quotations, manage invoices, negotiate prices, and use different tools to keep track of their pipeline and forecast. He is in charge of about 20 different accounts from various industries such as energy, manufacturers, banks, IT companies, and all; his biggest account as of the moment is Toyota Japan. On top of that, he is also responsible for managing all internal teams, link clients to them, and attend all networking events to develop his network and find new customers.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be within two areas: sales and IT management, since these two are what he has been doing for the past 14+ years. He started off with a technical background doing mostly IT/network engineering, and IT project management then laterally moved to doing sales and key account management after several years so has the expertise for both areas.
