1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Her background is divided into two halves; sales and marketing related jobs, about 75% of her experience is with FMCG and the 25% is within food technology and IT related companies. She has worked with different companies including manufacturers, retail enterprise, SMB, B2C type of roles, and also worked with several startups including tobacco company and food tech/ecommerce companies. She’s currently working with XXXX as a Senior Manager for Brand Management where she’s in charge of selling their Japan products to Korean consumers in their ecommerce site; she’s in charge of beauty and personal care products and is mainly responsible for the sales volume, KPIs, and promotion planning. Previously, she was a Category Manager for XXXX (XXXX) and her main role was a buyer for confectionary products, was also in charge of ecosystem planning for ecommerce. Also worked with XXXX as a Senior Category Manager where she was in charge of category analysis and business improvement, she has worked there with sales people for a retail company and has increased their sales through data analytics.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be her negotiation skills along with her data analysis skills. On top of that, she’s in sales and marketing for many years now, she has great planning and promotional execution skills. Industry-wise, she’s strongest with FMCG, Food Tech, and IT-related companies.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She has more than 10 years of sales experience and has mostly spent it with FMCG, Food Tech, Ecommerce, and IT space. During her time with XXXX and XXXX, she has worked with lots of sales people and has helped them with driving sales and revenue growth, although not being involved directly in doing sales. She also has great knowledge of the Japan culture, market, and business environment so she can help companies navigate their presence in the local market. She has experience with restaurants, retails, and other consumer-related business.
