1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started his career as a Sales Engineer for XXXX where he mainly worked for Japan and Taiwan regions. After that, he joined XXXX as a Field Application Engineer for more than 4 years, mostly troubleshooting issues of FPC and BtB connectors. Also as an FAE, he worked with sales team as well to expand the market. He then move to XXXX as a Front Sales where he was in-charge of working with fans, heatsink, and power supply units. He is now with XXXX as a Senior Field Application Engineer where he is focused on the data center industry working on consumer products like HDMI cable, machines, and also power cables for customers. His daily job is divided into doing sales and engineering as well; he’s involved in communicating their proposals to customers, oversee their products, and verify the performance of those products as well after development. Afterwards, they also have to support and answer all the questions of their customers, communicate with both internal teams and customers as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his deep knowledge and understanding of the technical side of being a Field Application Engineer; he has been focused mostly on consumer products and market for the past 10 years of his career in this field. He can rate himself around 3-4 out of 5 in this area. On top of that, he considers his communication skills as one of his weapons as well since he can speak good English, Japanese, and also Chinese since he’s originally from Taiwan.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has almost 10 years of experience in doing Field Application Engineering mostly for data center and consumer products area. He also has great sales support experience since he has been doing this for both of his FAE roles; good with software and product installation with customers. Has great customer-facing skills and also knowledgeable with the technical side.
