1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has been working with global companies for more than 20 years, mostly doing procurement or purchasing; also can contribute on the project management side of things since she has experience with startup businesses. She started her career with XXXX as a Buyer for Supply Chain Management and after that, moved to retail industry with XXXX and XXXX where she mostly served as a Product Development Specialist responsible for more than 10 product launches; she was leading a team in both roles. Later on, she switched to F&B industry and joined XXXX as a Category Manager for beverage and alcohol, did assortments, P&L, and sales analysis as well, acquired partners such as Coca Cola, Rekkit, and others. Her last role was with XXXX in Japan as an MD Procurement Manager for beverage, alcohol, non-food, and pet pictures; she was responsible for researching the customers interests inside the market, looking at the sales number for each product or category, and do some data analysis based on those numbers for business growth.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be her data analysis skills since she has to frequently look at numbers and see what it tells about the business. She also have good communication skills both internally and externally since she has been doing project/product management and development for many years now. She’s good communicating with lots of stakeholders and manage their expectations.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Although having a sales experience on the earlier years of her career, she is now more on procurement and purchasing side of things. She has great connection and network with local restaurants, cafes, and basically retail since she has been in this industry for the last few years. She’s a native Japanese so she knows about the culture, market, and how business essentially works there.
