1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has around 18+ years of overall experience to which close to 15 years is spent in Japan, mainly in business development and sales leadership roles. He started working in India for XXXX as a Technical Specialist and then moved to XXXX as Program Manager for Key Accounts and later on as a Business Development Manager where he was in charge of managing strategic accounts in Japan Automotive and Telecommunication industry; during that time, he worked with XXXX, a telecom industry, and started with automotive OEMs as well. Afterward, he moved to XXXX which is focused more into transportation and automotive, he was handling both large account management as well as hunting new customers, new business development, and such. He is now with XXXX where he is handling the whole sales team and acting as the Japan region head. Individually, he is working on generating businesses with a focus predominantly on automotive and other sectors including manufacturing, heavy engineering, and plant engineering as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his expertise in new business development, generating new customers for the company, as well as mining accounts to grow them. Also on top of that, he has great understanding of the overall Japan ecosystem and market landscape since he has been working in this region for more than 15 years; he knows how to work with customer and build relationships with them as well. In terms of industry and domain, his strongest focus would be automotive and digital engineering/transformation area.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering degree so he has expertise in areas such as electrical/electronics, software, and mechanical engineering as well; he doesn’t have the strong experience in coding or doing designs but he has great understanding of OEM requirements and liaise with customers as well. On top of that, he has done a great part in taking care of different engineering projects, negotiations, different types of management, and such; he has been in the automotive industry for more than 12 years now and has more than 5 years of experience in leadership roles. His current company is an American company and he has worked with Western-based teams as well so can confidently work with those type of companies in the future if ever.
