1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been working with several industries for about 11 years now. Most of his time has been spent on his sole proprietorship business specialized in consumer electronics trading, from import and export, and worked on all stuff such as finance, sales, purchasing, basically from beginning to end. Before he started his own business, he also was a salesperson for consumer electronics store and dealerships such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and others. Apart from that, he has experience working in a real estate agency as a contractor where he served them as a Sales and HR manager, managing four to five employees on management, he also have to start the whole operations there from scratch, created manuals and managed sales from the operation financial deficit to profitable. After that, he has worked with XXXX as a Sales Agent where he handled mostly consumer electronics products, handled the logistics of the trade in programs, distribute devices to local retailers, physical stores, and online shops in Japan nationwide. Currently, he’s running again a spin-off of his sole proprietorship called XXXX, he’s acting as a Managing Director where he’s again responsible for managing all things such as sales, operations, and they provide business intelligence/consultancy for overseas clients that wants to expand their purchases and businesses in Japan.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his ability of establishing relationships with client from scratch to actual business partners. Also as a salesperson, he has strong experience with cold calling, visiting stores from street to street, and is very good with attracting new customers and decision-makers, and eventually discuss business collaborations with them. For his soft skills, he has good communication skills.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has sales experience of more than 10 years now, mostly in consumer electronics and business intelligence consultancy areas. Being a local Japanese, he has great understanding of the Japanese culture, market, and how the businesses there works since he also has lots of experience in compliance; also has been helping foreign entities in starting their business and expanding in Japan. He is fine to work with SMEs in the F&B industry and has no problem doing door-to-door type of sales; for CRM tools, he has used HubSpot, Monday.com, and is also okay with Salesforce and NetSuite.
