1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
After graduation, he joined XXXX initially as a Production Engineer then moved to HEV development as a Hybrid Control System Assistant Manager where he did mostly system design and software design as well. Then he became a Manager after that for about 6+ years where he did mostly HEV development management for different products. He then joined XXXX as a Quality Assurance Manager where he was involved with Honda PHEV projects, data analysis, but was with them only for a temporary transfer. He then moved to XXXX as a Product Assurance Senior Manager where he did ADAS development, mainly on the data collection and validation side of things; one of the projects he handled there was an automotive eyesight project. Due to some issues, he had to move to XXXX as a Senior Vehicle Expert where he did vehicle system component test and validation consultancy, also built relationship with vendors and universities for setting up test environments. He is now with XXXX as a Program Manager where he’s doing project management for Body Domain ECU SW project, doing implementation and also managing the application software development, validation, and mostly communicates with their clients and customers. He also manages projects there with big issues and reduces gap between customer side and their company.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his skills in electronic design and spanning to the validation field as well. He is strong with HEV and EV electrical development, system design, control design, and manages all the processes of it up until validation. Industry-wise, he has only been into automotive industry and companies so he would be very confident working in this specific area.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has experience doing sales support activities but most recently, he is doing technical management or engineering management so he prefers to continue doing it rather than having a desk job. All of his experiences as well for the past 30 years has been in the automotive industry including companies like Nissan, Honda, and Subaru.
