1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has more than 8 years of experience in UI/UX design and has 4+ years in design leadership now. She is currently working with XXXX as a Product Design Manager where she is leading a team of 6 designers for a social entertainment app across iOS, Android, and web. Previously, she also directed design strategy and component library development in collaboration with engineering teams while overseeing hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews for junior to senior designers. Before that, she was a UI/UX Designer for XXXX Studios where she designed UX flows and UI components for mobile games and community features, she partnered and collaborated with product managers and researchers in implementing data-driven designs. She started as a UI/UX designer for XXXX in Tokyo where she created wireframes, mockups, and interaction flows for B2C service apps. She also worked closely back then with front-end engineers and brand teams to ensure smooth delivery.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be her ability to bridge design vision with business impact, she excels at aligning visual and interaction design with measurable business goals. Apart from that, she's great with end-to-end product design and has experience in managing full lifecycle of design (discovery, research, prototyping, UI creation, and usability testing) across mobile and web platforms. Technology-wise, she's proficient with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative, Suite, Framer, and Zeplin; for UX Research, she regularly uses Maze, Lookback, and JIRA/Confluence for workflow.
