1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He started his IT career back in the Philippines and was first hired by XXXX as a Major Incident and Problem Management officer, he was responsible there for handling P1 outages and high priority tickets. He then upgraded his skills, got certifications, and was promoted as a Network Operations Engineer for the same company where he focused on network operations server, mostly Level 2/3 incident tickets. After that, he moved to XXXX as a Network Operations Engineer where he focused on different projects, follow standard network topology architecture from old retail stores they are trying to merge that time. Then he got the opportunity to move to Japan back in 2016 as a Network Engineer and Retail IT Projects/Operations Manager where he was focused on interacting and coordinating with different vendors outside Japan, he was also working on different technologies and is currently the Head of IT where he manages retail stores from operations, new store, build closure, project ad hocs, and at the same time filtering, recruiting engineers; he also interviews, do performance review, is involved in budgeting, creating quotations, and all.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be infrastructure in general, also good with leadership and management skills. He started off doing incident management then gradually moved to a network engineering roles and at the same time doing project and operations management so he has been in the ground for L0 to L3 up to people management.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been doing project management and coordination for about 10 years now and is familiar with most of project management tools and methodologies; he is exposed to Agile, ServiceNow, and some old Japan methodologies. He is also good working with both in-house and third party applications since he is currently working for a vendor company, also is experienced with helpdesk CMS including Remedy, ServiceNow, JIRA, and Avaya, Cisco phones.
