1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been working in the event and marketing industry for the past 15+ years and he started his career with a travel industry, joined XXXX as a Sales Manager where he was in charge of inbound events and diplomatic delegates operation. After that, he started his career with project management and joined XXXX as a Project Director and then Associate Director for XXXX where he was responsible for project collaborations and event planning for both roles. He then joined XXXX as a Project Leader where he also did branding and event promotions, built relationships with industry media and key stakeholders including BCG and Renmin University. He was also an Artist Agent for XXXX where he engaged in concert & fans party, has supported different artists mostly Korean ones. On his last role with XXXX, he was an Event & BD Director where he managed different clients mostly on the IT/Internet side of things such as Microsoft, SAP, including PayPal, Snapchat and has supported some automobile businesses as well such as BMW, Mercedez-Benz, and such. He was in charge there for product circle of event from every beginning; pitching, account management, creative proposal, and up to operations.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his multilingual understanding of the Asian market including China, Japan, and has lots of contacts in Korea as well. He’s good working with multinational companies and has great knowledge of how they would like to promote and demonstrate their product development; he’s fine with both B2B and B2C events like road shows, trade show, incentive offerings, webinars, and workshops. Although his expertise would be offline and in-person events, he’s also good with handling virtual events.
