1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Has been working in Japan for the last 6 years, started working as a Technical Lead and then worked as a Developer as well for about a year. He was also an Infrastructure Engineer for XXXX then moved to XXXX as a Project Manager where he handled IT Infrastructure projects as well. He is currently with XXXX as an IT Consultant, mostly engaged with the hospitality consulting and his key roles would include handling projects for IT AV systems, security, and all these phases under consulting. He is part of an 8-member team where he leads about half of them in designing schematic and conceptual design, portraying bases, align their projects with branch standard, and up to completion of the projects; he’s also the one preparing the contracts with their clients and decide with the vendors based on their designs up to finalization.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be more on the network side of IT space; he’s also great with the security part of the systems and also would consider AV systems as part of his core skills, although he are still keen to learn and explore more about it.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 4.5 to 5 years of accumulated experience in project management from Rakuten and previous one from the ecommerce company. Also was exposed to technical environments including IT Infrastructure, since he has a technical background of infrastructure engineering before, and AV systems since he has handled projects related to that area. He is knowledgeable with security systems such as CCTVs, panic alarm systems and actual buttons on buildings and is keen to learn more about electronic security systems. He’s also bilingual with English and Japanese of about N3 to N1 level.
