1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is a highly experienced engineer with strong background in telecoms, wireless network, and regulations/compliance. He has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with expertise in network licensing, wireless communication systems, and regulatory compliance. He is currently working with XXXX as a Senior Regulatory & Telecom Engineer where he is leading the company's regulatory affairs, liaise with government bodies and ministries for licenses. He also provides technical guidance on network infrastructure and radio spectrum management while being involved with regulatory risk assessments as well. He started in this company doing more technical tasks such as designing, implementing, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and network. Previously, he was with XXXX as a Telecom & Compliance Specialist where he mostly managed all regulatory processes and ensured compliance with local network laws; worked with both internal and external stakeholders for legal telecom operations. He was also the one doing the documentations and reports for license applications and renewals. He started off his career with different companies but all within the technical side of things as a Network Engineer; he was mostly involved with wireless network solutions, RF systems, and provided technical consulting/troubleshooting on network architecture and security as well during those times.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his deep experience dealing directly with government bodies and working with wireless network licenses, compliance with local regulations, and ability to negotiate terms, processes, and other related stuff. On the technical side, he's great with wireless & network engineering in general and troubleshooting telecom network issues. Also, he is possessing people management skills; able to handle high-level discussions with officials and leaders, also with internal/external teams.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, both as a technical person and a manager. He can say that, currently, his job is more on the management side but he's still involved in some technical stuff, for about 10-20% of his role. Fortunately, his strongest skill would be within licensing, renewals of networks/wireless network so he believes he can leverage that for this specific position. He also has experience leading a team but would be fine joining as an individual contributor initially; he's deeply rooted with the industry's key regulations and compliance as well while being able to troubleshoot and get his hands dirty with technical issues within the network. He previously planned to take up his MIC certification although he didn't finished it, but he will be taking it again this coming quarter.
