Interview Assessment Notes
|
1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been working with XXXX for about 2 years now as an Engineering Manager, where he supervises a team of engineers for the Japan region for products with Toyota, Nissan, and is now promoting to Honda; they develop USB products and wireless chargers for automotive and he has worked with the global team as well. Before this, he was with XXXX and has worked there for about 15 years with R&D projects, mostly including EV power electronics, electric distribution, communication network, and HMI products as well. He also was a Product Development previously for the same company, mostly for onboard chargers and DCDC converters for EVs and PHEVS. He mainly worked with Toyota back then, mostly on the R&D side of things. During his time in this company, he also took a break and went to University of Michigan to pursue his MBA specializing in data analytics and did pass with honors and high distinction.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his knowledge and skills in engineering especially in electrics for automotive. He considers himself a specialist in wireless charging, power transfer application, and those type of stuff. Apart from that, he’s a manager himself managing a group of engineers in Japan and a global team of engineering so he has great management skills as well.
