1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He was previously working with XXXX as a Field Application Engineer where he was responsible in doing technical support for software, hardware, production, and also performed presales technical support for most of their customers such as customizing samples, workflow solutions, and provide with resolution afterwards. During that time, he also acquired some data science skills, statistics, Python, SQL, and some data science certification. He is currently doing freelancing jobs related to FAE; he services the previous customers and contacts he had with XXXX, as well as distributors, and work mostly with printer management and color management issues with them.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his experience in coordinating with different colleagues and customers from different countries; he is good with being involved in sales and helping out fellow engineers as well in other regions. On top of that, he is collaborating closely with their R&D department before so he is confident with his technical skills and field application skills within the textile and printing industry. Another skill he can leverage is his multilingual skills; coming originally from Hong Kong, he can speak fluent English, Chinese, as well as Japanese.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 6-7 years of experience now in field applications engineering, mostly for the textile and industrial printing (garments and clothes) industry. Aside from that, he has strong technical background within software, can do installation, demos, and troubleshooting as well. Since his last role, he has been involved already with sales support activities where he had to support customers, help them out with the products, and so on. He is willing to learn more about the automotive industry and thinks he can work with the customers within it if given the chance. Can consider relocating to Aichi as well depending on the compensation and package.
