Interview Assessment Notes

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is a Deployment Engineer/Project Coordinator with more than 8 years of experience in robotics deployment and project management across Japan and global markets. He was recently with XXXX as a Senior Deployment Engineer where he led deployment projects for autonomous warehouse robots in Japan and SE Asia; he was the one managing full deployment lifecycle: pre-installation planning, on-site installation, client onboarding, and post-launch support. He also collaborated with global engineering teams to localize solutions and documentation in local language. Before this, he was with with XXXX as a Deployment Engineer and Project Coordinator where he oversaw about 20+ deployments for robotic arms and AI-enabled assembly systems in automotive plants. He acted as the primary contact for Japanese-speaking clients while coordinating with English-speaking R&D teams; also created bilingual training materials and led workshops for client engineers. He started off as a Technical Support Engineer for a robotics company where he provided L2 support during post-deployment stages of robotic systems; worked closely that time with project managers in troubleshooting deployment challenges in real-time.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be leading full-cycle robotics deployments from pre-sales engineering and system planning to on-site implementation, client training, and post-deployment support. He is great with bridging the technical and operational gap between engineering teams and end users, especially with cross-cultural and bilingual environments. On top of that, he considers himself strongest with robotics & automation; proficient with robotics systems integration, PLC programming, and different tools as well related to robotics.
