1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
   He has 22 years of experience in the core network domain and is currently working with XXXX in Japan as a Solution Architect within the Core Network Engineering team. His responsibilities include network design, deployment, and operations for 4G and 5G phases. While initially based in Tokyo, he is currently working remotely from Egypt, with plans to return to Japan around July. Previously, he served as Director of Cloud and Core Network at a telecom operator in northern Iraq from 2017 to 2019, overseeing a team of around 55 engineers across core network, charging and billing, data center infrastructure, and IMS. Before that, he held roles including Project Manager for XXXX in Algeria, IP Network Consultant for a Dubai-based company managing modernization projects in Iran, and Network Planning Manager at a telecom operator in Iraq. His earlier experience includes positions with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX Egypt, contributing to transmission and network engineering projects across Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East. His expertise spans core, wireless, IP, and transmission networks, covering design, deployment, and operations across multiple technologies and regions.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
   His strongest skills is in managing end-to-end network operations.  His experience also includes leading projects from initial vendor evaluation through to procurement, proof of concept (POC), and full-scale project initiation. He has overseen the preparation and negotiation of contracts and master agreements, including defining scope of work and responsibilities. He has successfully led projects through all phases—initiation, planning, execution, and closure—ensuring smooth vendor integration and delivery. 

3.  Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
   He began working on the access side of network sites, covering technologies such as microwave, wireless, IP, and optical, and later moved into core network operations. Prior to his current role, he held a director position overseeing engineers across various technical domains. He has hands-on experience and managerial expertise in different areas of the network. This includes not only deep technical knowledge but also capabilities in vendor and project management. He has managed tasks such as sourcing equipment, onboarding new vendors, testing and evaluating them, and conducting both technical and financial negotiations.
