1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been in Japan for more than 20 years now and is working with XXXX as a Technical Manager where he frequently attends meeting with Japan customers, in charge with projects and involving the offshore development to the business, and handle them up until delivery as well. Before this, he was with XXXX as a QA Engineer Manager where he managed their testing process for products and was in charge of the full product quality team; they tested both software and hardware during that time and handle customer reports, issues, and delegate them to development team for resolution. He also worked with XXXX as a Module Owner and Product Owner where he took full responsibility for module in data protection, introduced products to global customers for China and Taiwan, and such. He also worked very briefly with XXXX as a Field Application Engineer for embedded software products that includes real time OS, middleware, and development tools for Asia Pacific region. He started with more technical roles such as Sr. Software Engineer for XXXX where he was in charge of communication with Japan customers in analysing requirements; complete and work on customized module development based on customer needs.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his ability to handle products accordingly, either hardware or software product for his past companies. He also has great ability to deal with their new and existing customers, has worked with different people now so has great handling skills at this point. Aside from that, he has been in Japan for more than 25 years now so he has great knowledge of their culture, how to communicate with locals, and understand what they need as well.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has experience as a Field Application Engineer previously for few months but has been doing technical support and sales support activities such as introducing their product and solutions to their customers, collect their questions and requirements, and propose solutions to them afterward. He also has a strong technical background since he started off as software engineer; he has great experience with software installation, troubleshooting, and doing demos as well. He worked previously for an automotive client for the development of their driver modules so he’s comfortable to work within an automotive industry again if given the chance.
