1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has about 11 years of experience in automotive vehicle engine calibration using Matlab assembly-based software, also specialized with ECU for engine. He is currently with XXXX, working for XXXX as a Vehicle Calibration and Testing Specialist; he is functioning there as a subject matter expert and is currently involved for an upcoming generation platform for XXXX, he’s working on the latest platform for the European market. Before this, he was a Calibration/Testing Engineer for XXXX, and worked with XXXX as a Calibration Engineer where he was involved with different projects. Most of his previous roles are calibration and testing-related as well, mainly in the automotive industry both in India and Japan.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his tactical project management skills as well as his core expertise area that includes field of electronics (validation, calibration), software validation, and software model flow as well.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He is interested to try the field applications engineer role since he has been into customer-facing positions for about 8 years now where he had to support customers, resolve issues, and help them with the products as well. He is strongest within the automotive industry since he has been in this field ever since he started his career. Knowledgeable with software troubleshooting and product installation as well. Willing to learn Japanese language if it’s required for the role, but for now he can only speak and understand on a basic level. In terms of the tools, he’s familiar with MATLAB based INCA software, Simulink, and MDA data analysis software; he uses those tools on a regular basis.
