1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He did his Master in Australia and also worked for several years there, mostly as Sales Specialist and Business Development Specialist for telecom companies. After that, he moved to XXXX where he handled Seychelles region, where he led enterprise business team, enhance strategic account relationships, and guide business/sales initiatives as well to get targets. Currently, he’s the Head of Enterprise Business for the same company where he’s handling a team of 14 people (team size of 50) including key account managers, business solution architects, and others. He’s also a Business Solution Specialist where he designs and architects solutions for B2B initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, they do hunting and farming in sales, go out to look for customers, and manage current portfolios; they provide data center solutions, telephony, cloud platforms, IaaS, and related products.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be sales and financial planning since part of his job is to give financial forecast every month and every year. For the past 8-10+ years of his experience, he has been achieving targets; also good with motivating the team, getting them to finish things, and lastly, handle customers effectively so they don’t leave their network.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 10 years of sales and business development, mostly from telecommunication industry so he would be fine working with IT hardware, mobiles, and electronics-related products; from his previous role, he was selling B2C to SMEs and retail market. Most of his customers recently are based in the Middle East so he has great network already in the UAE, Saudi, Qatar; some of the relevant companies he has worked with are Saudi Telecoms, Byron Mobiles, and others. He frequently goes to Dubai as well since their HQ is based there, and most of his contacts are C-level and upper management already. He’s originally from India so he can also speak Hindi on top of English and other Indian languages.
