1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has finished his MCA in India and has about 9 years of experience in the software development industry; he’s a PHP developer working mostly for web application development. In terms of technologies, he usually works with PHP for programming language, Laravel and Core PHP for frameworks, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax for scripting, and Postgres, MySQL for databases. He is currently a Senior Software Developer for XXXX where he’s responsible for handling a small team with their projects, guide them on coding, do code review, handling the servers, database, and coordinating with clients as well. The current project he’s involved with is a university ERP portal where all the things needed will be available online including scheduling of online admissions, generating enrolments, online counselling, online examination, and such. He also handles some government, automotive, and healthcare projects on this company as well. Previously, he was mostly a Software Developer as well working in different sectors including ecommerce, government, and related industries.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be PHP and Laravel since he has been using them for more than 9 years now. He can rate himself in these two with a 3.5 out of 5 since there are still a lot more to learn, but if talking about the ability to handle projects using these language and frameworks, he can rate himself a 4 to 4.5 out of 5. In terms of the industry, he’s great with anything related to IT/Tech when it comes to web application development.
