1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as a Network Consulting Engineer responsible for 3 different lines with 3 different clients. One of his client is from manufacturing industry where he is responsible for the presales and consultancy role to support his sales team of what sort of hardware they need to purchase, implementation of designs and bill of materials. For his 2nd client come from retail shopping industry and he is responsible for leading a team of 5 people in Manila. He is responsible for designing and implementation of the network, migration and providing expert level of support. His 3rd client has the same duties the only difference is that they are using meraki solution and the other one is purely cisco based technology.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specializes in Routing BGP protocols, implementation and troubleshooting of firewalls, switches and rates himself 4 out of 5. He said that only 2 years when he started his career he worked with Juniper however he is well-versed in CisCo and Merika network equipments. He has hands-on experience in network technologies and protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and VLAN. He has solid experience in configuration of routers and switches of Cisco and Meraki equipment’s. He also has a broad knowledge in the ISP of Hong Kong and China since all his client came this countries.
