- Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Graduated in 1995 and took a master’s degree and graduated in 2001Over 10 years covering airport and MTR, regional work covering BKK and India. 6+ years in XXXXXX as Project Manager (also tender management) for HKIA and other customer like DHL hub projects. XXXXX is Germany HQ, global leader in sortation – major logistics company like SF Express, DHL and airports will use their sortation system for baggage handling (with RFID) or airport or other logistics hub (parcel sortation). From 1997 he worked as Sales Engineer for XXXXXX and stayed there for 7 years. He then joined a local famous company called XXXXXX Ltd and there he effectively manages tenders and leads, taking a lead role on account research and preparation of presentation materials whilst ensuring pricing is consistent with pricing strategy and the effective implementation of the account. Then shifted to being a Project Manager to make his career path more prosperous and wider and for his personal career development.
- What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
Has a strong interpersonal skill, as a successful project manager he was able to improve his communications skills as he spoke and worked with a lot of stakeholders and has a great team leading skills since he has also managed team inside and outside of Hong Kong. He also has a great customer relationship or end user skills. He also has Hands-on skills in managing Mechanical & Electrical related projects that involving interface with multiple work disciplines. As well a Knowledge in SAP and able to learn computer-based information systems / software.
- In 2012 he started working for XXXXXXX as Project Manager. 3 years as Regional Project Manager (also tender management) in Thales Transport & Security HK, in the Transportation company, responsible for projects and contracts for MTR (HK) & DMRC (India) – for automatic fare collection system (gates) in railway business - metro. Also cover for BKK (but it’s a minor project). Direct client management with MTR and DMRC.
4.He also has 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager XXXXXX (local System Integrator including Morpho Detection, Rapi-Scan, Leidos), started to cover HKIA, Civil Aviation Depart from this job. |
