1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been working with XXXX as a Technical Writer where they mostly work on government projects, computer companies, and such. He is responsible with working on technical documents such as systems specifications, manuals, and related materials. Also serving as a business analyst where he is getting the user requirements from their clients, mostly from Hong Kong government, to revamp or redevelop their new systems. He also attends meetings with clients and managers, also with system engineers, to be able to get some reference questions how they will form the system and work on some technical documents to deliver to them afterwards. At the same time, he was a Freelance Translator for XXXX and was a Managing Partner for XXXX previously.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his keen eye for details and his personality of doing things meticulously. He’s also bilingual with English and Mandarin/Cantonese so he can leverage this when doing materials. He also has great attention to his work’s quality and always ensure he delivers the best outputs.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been working on technical documentations for more than 4 years so he’s very familiar with the standards and directives of it. Most of their clients and projects are within the local government and a small portion of it would be for private enterprises and corporations. He also has knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator and has used it previously for a specific project. He’s keen to learn more about XML documentations and can speak fluent English and native Cantonese/Mandarin.
