1.Currently, he’s working with X as a software engineer manager. He’s responsible in leading a team of five engineers on AI and deep learning research, development, and deployment on robotic and video analysis products, including code writing. He added that their products include Fever Detection Robot, Fallen People Detection. He’s also responsible in implementation of face recognition, human pose estimation, object recognition and tracking, and speech to text.
2.Previously to that, he also worked with X as research-based technical staff. He’s responsible in natural languages (NLP) such as machine translation, English writing correction, and caption generation. He added that he’s also responsible in computer vision projects such as object detection, human pose detection, face detection, projective transformation, and human tracking.
3.Previously, he also worked with several companies such as X as quantitative analyst and his main role was about data science. He also worked with X as a research associate and X as secondary school teacher.
4.He specialized in problem solving in machine and deep learning including deployment and implementation. He added that he specialized in Python and experience with node.js, javascript, and PHP. He said that he’s using Python for machine and deep learning purposes while using the latter for creating the interface and database.
5.When it comes to machine learning, he said that he created probability models, optical tracking and spam message filtering as examples. He added that he has 4 years of experience in machine and deep learning.
6.He’s currently working with a start-up company which is X and still willing to work with one as long as there are good projects. No experience with western company background but willing to work with one. He added that there’s no problem as well working in HKSTP.
