- Currently he is working in XXX as IT Manager. XXX was a start-up company established in the year 2012, and he was involved in all the stages. For instance, network infrastructure design and implementation; network security; data center management; sourcing and evaluate different trading systems collaborating with various IT vendors, telecom vendors and information system vendors.
- He was focus on IT Infrastructure, Data analytics and Data Security. In fact, one of their projects in 2017 was migrating Data Center and making it sure the all the client’s data are secured, and no harm will be made.
- He was involved in maintaining and monitoring data security. He used servers from different locations: for instance, servers in data center and head office via VPN connection for data synchronization and backup; second server in the head office for local backup; and offline NAS (only local intranet connection) for data replication.
- The biggest challenges for him are all bout security, because he needs to change the security from time-to-time, since their company is start-up, it is hard for them to maintain the security so, he needs to have an up-to-date anti-virus software and he needs to monitor the day to day traffics, to know if there is any security breach/attack.
- His strongest asset is his detail oriented mindset that anything found suspicious, he will investigate it as soon as possible. With his research background (Ph.D in Computing and IT), he loves investigating and finding solution to resolve technical issues / problem encountered.
