1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
   He has two years of industry experience and relocated from the United States to Hong Kong a few months ago, partly due to personal roots and a desire to work internationally. He graduated in 2020 with a degree in economics and initially worked in fund accounting for private equity, but found the work unfulfilling. Seeking more impactful skills, he became interested in cybersecurity and began his journey by completing a foundational Google-sponsored course on Coursera, followed by earning the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. He has since engaged in various cybersecurity projects, including CTF challenges on TryHackMe, and started writing lab reports to strengthen his documentation skills. Although he lacks formal IT work experience, he has independently developed projects—such as setting up Active Directory and building a vulnerability scanning tool—available on his GitHub. Currently, he is preparing for the CCNA certification to deepen his understanding of networking, continues to document TryHackMe labs, and is also learning Cantonese. He is now actively seeking IT opportunities in Hong Kong.

2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
   He gained more knowledge in the past year and a half about this field than from any other subject throughout his education. This is evident in the projects and labs he has completed and the consistent effort he puts in independently. He has a strong passion for learning, especially in software technologies and cybersecurity. Outside of formal work and study, he also listens to cybersecurity podcasts like Darknet Diaries to understand real-world problems and how professionals solve them. His strongest skill is adaptability. He often finds himself in new situations and quickly becomes proficient. For example, when he joined a previous company in a role he was unfamiliar with, he took the initiative to self-study after work, including watching extended tutorials on tools like Excel. He has a strong internal drive to excel in whatever he does, motivated by a personal sense of responsibility and the desire not to fall behind or let the team down.
