1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He was working with XXXX for over 6 years and was mainly developing AI models and speech-related AI products including speech recognition, text-to-speech, and such. He was also exposed to lots of other speech-related technologies such as speech enhancement, voice conversion, audio watermarking, and audio deepfake detection. On top of that, they also publish academic papers and he was able to publish two papers in that job. Previously, he was working with XXXX for two postdoc roles including one for the XXXX and other one for XXXX; the first one was focused with genetic research and he was responsible for the methodology of doing polygenic scores, while the other one was a government funded project to do healthcare manpower projection for Hong Kong. He was doing his PhD in XXXX prior to that and started his career with Institute of Psychiatry as a Data Analyst where he performed medical statistical analysis for a mental health-related research.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be developing AI models since he has been doing that for more than 6 years now. Apart from that, he’s good with programming languages including Python, Pytorch, R, and is very familiar with the Linux environment as well.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has more than 6 years of experience in data science and has been using Python in that duration as well. He is more focused into data science rather than data engineering but would be okay to do both jobs if ever. Apart from that, he knows the basic of databases and can catch the pace if given the chance; also familiar with cloud technologies such as Azure and Google Cloud.
