Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Been living in Hong Kong for about a year now and is originally from Europe. During his PhD, he decided he wanted to work in finance and first job was with XXXX as a Quantitative Researcher where he managed his own trading strategies, doing research, and developing some utility for trading analysis. After that, he looked for opportunities in Asia and was able to join XXXX as a Desk Quant with Equity Volatility Trading teams. For his development background, he is very strong with Python and whole data science stack including libraries such as NumPy, PySpark, PyTorch, etc.

What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be Python in terms of programming languages, he’s been using and learning it since undergraduate so for about 10 years now. Can rate himself a 4-5 out of 5 in working with Python.

Do you have the lists of key criteria's according to the client's requirements?
He took his Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD in Physics. He can say he’s strong with basic statistics and mathematics. For Python, he considers it as his strongest along with Panda. For Linux-scripting, he has touched it in the past but not much. Also mostly been using Linux as a user but not much of administration side. Also familiar with financial markets especially in Australia, HK.
