- He is currently working as a BA and he does business development for customers and work with the IT development team. He is mainly responsible for the model, the surface. They also discuss how to support and implement some enhancement. if a user wants to make changes, they will submit a request to the system, his team will discuss technical requirements and how much effort needs to be spent on the request and come up with the solution.
- He is strongest in collecting requirements from business users, documentation of business requirements, and workflow process diagrams for the development team. He has 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst and would rate himself 4 out of 5. In his previous job, he had many projects from scratch while in his current job it is mostly system enhancements on the current system.
- He has created a Loose Diamond Platform project with his team, it was a B2B for the users to be able to communicate with different diamond providers that are in different places such as in India, Thailand, or Japan. They upload the diamond in their platform and there is a backend CMS system to support the user to set their mock-up so when the supplier uploads the data, it will be shown and there is also API integration if they don’t want to use the manual upload of the data they can import the data through the system. It was to integrate the platform so that users can buy and ship to different places. He worked with the external vendor, managed the test plan, test case with users, schedule, documentation, and requirements collection, he was involved in the whole software development life cycle.
- He also provides the support and the user training, he was responsible for the user training in his previous company but he only does this if the project has an external vendor involved then his team will be involved in this part. He will have 3 or 4 sessions with different related business users.
