After graduating in 2022, she worked as an IT support specialist at XXXX for more than two years, where she developed expertise in systems maintenance and management. Her daily responsibilities included handling inquiries via chat and phone from colleagues worldwide especially in the Asia-Pacific region and troubleshooting both software and hardware issues. She was also responsible for managing XXXX’s retail systems and coordinating IT critical incidents, which involved communicating with teams in the US and Europe to clarify incident statuses and determine next steps. Additionally, she supported key stakeholders such as the commercial and product teams as well as important suppliers, gaining valuable business insights and developing resources on common IT issues. This experience has helped her build a solid foundation in IT and effective cross-departmental communication to ensure smooth operations in both stores and offices.

    She works in incident support and rotates through call, chat, and coordinator shifts. When a support request comes in from a coworker, she remotely accesses the computer to determine if it is a personal issue or one with a broader business impact. For larger problems, she creates an incident in the ServiceNow system, gathers information such as screenshots, videos, and equipment details, and contacts the appropriate team whether it be product, application, server, or network to resolve the issue. In cases that are more complicated, she arranges a troubleshooting meeting via email. Initially trained in desktop maintenance and helpdesk support at XXXX, her role expanded to include hardware issues like setting up printers and managing software installations, as well as handling common application issues affecting order creation and other daily operations. Additionally, she supports a desktop order creation tool and a new system rollout, summarizing common issues and reporting them to the development team to mitigate potential impacts on the business and brand reputation.
