In his most recent role as an IT Deputy Team Manager at a Germany-based company in Shanghai, he was responsible for IT operations in China and provided support to users across Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australia. His work involved handling both hardware and software issues, assigning hardware to users in China, and managing software licenses for those who required them. Additionally, he coordinated with local vendors for business and government-related audits, created user accounts for new hires, and managed access permissions in Active Directory and O365. He participated in weekly meetings with the Germany headquarters to report on progress, upcoming plans, and operational updates. He was also responsible for preparing the annual IT budget for China and reporting it to headquarters. As Deputy IT Manager, he played a key role in establishing IT policies and management rules for the China office.
