1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She graduated with Master’s Degree in Interpreting in the UK and got the chance to join XXXX as a Translation Specialist & Senior Assistant where she had to work with different topics including flatline operations, quality, government affairs, and such. After some time, she got promotion as the Board Secretary, but since the job is more on assistant/administrative work rather than interpreting and translating, so she moved to find another challenge. She then joined XXXX and during her first year, she worked for a XXXX with XXXX where she worked on interpreting management meetings, did technical verification meetings for different equipment, and such. For the past year, she was doing freelancing mainly interpreting for a Malaysian project; her work there is focused on petrochemical industry such as HVO, SAF, and related areas. Overall, she was mostly involved with paper translation and verbal translation as well.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be her interpretation skills since this is her educational background; she also knows different modes of interpreting and translating so that would be few of her strengths. Apart from that, she has great confidence in interpreting or working with chief executives, face more than 200 people for presentation, and such. The third thing is her industry knowledge, she has great involvement with petrochemical, aerospace, and others.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She if focused more on the interpreting and translating side of things such as verbal and paper translation. Also well-versed with domains including aerospace and petrochemical so she can leverage these knowledge in her next jobs. For the tools, she mostly just uses translation tools, Microsoft Office, and such when doing her tasks.
