1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
Currently working as a Sr. IT Consultant currently handling 5 projects and one of them is a channel where he is responsible for organizing all the Wifi signals within the HK retail store and giving them solutions on how to improve the wifi setup as well as set up a network and servers for the brand-new office.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in?
He specializes in Networks, Servers as well as his communication skills and rates himself 4 out of 5. He handles the internal configuration for the O365, and SharePoint, and currently developing an AD for Japan and HK users. He performs administration and provides technical support for the O365 and SharePoint in HK end-users. He added he has no basic knowledge of Intune.
He has hands-on experience in Azure backup from his previous job with one of their clients and performs a backup in between SG and HK offices, and assists them to arrange the schedule for the Tape Library backup and NAS backup for the internal servers. He is also familiar with the other backup tools such as Veeam, VMware, and Hyper-V. He is knowledgeable of SCCM for the migration/new update of Microsoft and then pushes it to the user and performs the security patching. He added he has experience in Citrix VDI support with his previous job where it is installed as a terminal to remotely deploy applications.
